Which app are you referring to? Yous could go to the App Director, select the app, and tap Clear Defaults. If that doesn't aid, then try Clear Information, although depending on the app, that may also clear out other important data or settings.

That just ways it won't prove y'all the alert again. Y'all can nonetheless turn on mobile information by tapping the toggle.

    I understand the significant.

What i wanted to ask is for example when you plow off [Mobile Data] button from the notification menu, information technology will display a popup, "You volition no longer be able to apply applications such as internet..... Do not show again. bank check box [Cancel] [Ok]". I ticked the box and pressed ok so it no longer popup anymore.
Other buttons like [Location], [Handsfree way] when you press information technology it volition as well have a popup message Do not show once again cheque box.

How can I let the popup message appear over again?

The "show popup/don't show popup" flag is in a database, so you'll demand a SQLite app and you'll take to know which database to look in, or search until yous find one that looks right. Then update that record to change the False to True or the 0 to 1 or any the particular flag uses for an on-off indicator.

I don't know if this would spiral anything upwards, but I wonder if it piece of work to go to Settings>Apps>All, select Settings, and Articulate Data there.

It might. Anyone take a phone they don't demand the current settings on? (I guess I could dorsum up my current ROM, try information technology and, if it messed anything up, restore the backup. I'one thousand guessing the piece of work in resetting all the other checkboxes, permissions, etc., would get in an impractical solution - information technology resets preferences for ALL apps or none.)

I don't know if this would screw anything up, only I wonder if it work to go to Settings>Apps>All, select Settings, and Clear Data there.

I did not endeavour information technology, if it really reset to default for all apps, it will be troublesome to configure back the settings of those apps that I did not desire to impact.

Dwelling house page press menu cardinal>settings>application manager>I see tabs [downloaded], [sd card], [running], [all], [disabled], if lets say I select downloaded and printing the menu fundamental>reset app preferences, does the reset app preferences take effect on all the tabs or only the [downloaded] tab?

settings>application managing director>Menu button>Sort by size, when pressed will take effect for all tabs.

Information technology should just be all downloaded apps, or the particular app you lot cull. As mentioned in a higher place, yous tin reset all preferences and you lot'll be given those prompts over again. Otherwise, you'll take to notice the ones you want individually and clear data for that app or service.

Hi! Saw this thread recently while having the same problem. I don't know if it was ever solved but I got a solution from Sony back up- goto settings- apps- all apps- telephone(I had multiple phones). Nether telephone, select clear data. I had to restart my Xperia Z afterward to run across the changes but that's what did information technology for me. Promise it helps someone else.
